Fee Increase: Effective October 1, 2024, the fee for a 50-minute session will be $225 to align with the recommended rate set by the Association of Psychologists of Nova Scotia (APNS).

  • Please note that Dr. Scallion only provides individual therapy to adults aged 19 years and over, and does not offer couples therapy.

  • To book a Telehealth (video) session, select the “Follow-up Session (TelePsychology) - 50 Minutes” session type listed below. Please note that you must be in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick at the time of your Telehealth session.

  • To book an In-person session, select the “Follow-up Session (In-Person) - 50 Minutes” session type listed below. In-person sessions are only available on Mondays.

  • If you are participating in Trauma Focused Therapy with Dr. Scallion, and Dr. Scallion advised you to book an 80-minute appointment, then please contact her to book.

Dr. Scallion completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Saskatchewan. After returning home to Nova Scotia, she began working in private practice, as well as within the Nova Scotia Health Authority. Her therapeutic approach is a collaborative process grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and incorporates dialectical behavioral, mindfulness-based, and problem-solving/solution focused approaches.

Dr. Scallion works with adults (19+) with a range of mental health difficulties including anxiety disorders, low mood/depression, insomnia, and relationship difficulties. She has specialized training in treating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in military and RCMP using two evidence-based treatments for PTSD including Prolonged Exposure Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
